Ian Holding started his musical career at the age of 16. His first musical performance was in 1965. Ian joined a well known band at that time called Sunshine in 1969 - 70. He was involved in music, performing and other related activates before he joined the band Madderlake in 1975. Ian started performing in many cover up bands after he left Madderlake in the mid 70's. Two of those were popular bands named Cover Up and Rock Steady. He worked with Brenden in a music shop before starting Real Guitars in 1987.
